What this service does

WebsiteInfo is a free tool that reads publicly available information about a domain — DNS records, TLS certificates, HTTP response headers — and reports on it.

Only public information is read. The service never logs in to the site being checked, never tests for vulnerabilities, and never places meaningful load on it.

Nature of the results, and disclaimer

Results reflect what the domain answered at the moment of the check. They are informational and do not certify the security of a site, nor replace a professional audit.

DNS propagation, temporary errors on the remote server, or regional blocking can all produce results that differ from reality.

The operator accepts no liability for decisions or actions taken on the basis of these results.

Acceptable use

Automated bulk querying, attempts to disrupt the service, and use intended to infringe the rights of others are not permitted.

Access may be restricted without notice where excessive request volumes are observed.

Changes and availability

Features may change without notice. As a service run by one person, it may be briefly unavailable for maintenance or due to faults.
